The 2TB StoreJet 100 Portable Hard Drive for Mac from Transcend is formatted in HFS+ for use with your Mac. This drive can store up to 512 hours of full HD video, over 32,000 hours of digital music, or 960,000 of high resolution digital images. It is also compatible with Windows computers but requires reformatting. The StoreJet 100 is equipped with a USB 3.0 port that offers 10 times the bandwidth of USB 2.0. For protecting the hard drive, the StoreJet 100 is built with an internal hard drive suspension damper to provide shock resistance and it is further reinforced with a hard casing.
The StoreJet 100 supports Time Machine, which allows you to back up and synchronize data on your Mac computer. Transcend also offers a free download of Transcend Elite data software that makes it easy to keep important files organized, protected, and up-to-date. After you install the software, pressing the button located on top of the drive allows you to instantly back up and synchronize data on your computer. Included with the StoreJet 100 is a USB 3.0 cable.
