There's very little that can be said about these Mackie rack ears. Even the instructions enclosed with them tend to take that line... with a sense of humor. My desk was getting too cluttered with mixer, cables and a couple of bits of 19 gear that was just stacked (I'm a professional VO). I bought a small rack to try and tidy everything. These Mackie mounts do exactly what they are intended to do and allow the 1202VLZ3 to be mounted solidly, with room for cable management. The metal is solid enough and the quality matches that of the 1202 (i.e. built like a brick outhouse). Although the 1202 looks a little lost in a 19 rack (it's only 12 wide), by using some velcro strips, I have mounted my Apogess Duet onto one of the ears... looks good & maintains good cable management It should be noted that while these things are somewhat overpriced at list, B&H carries them at a reasonable price (managing to solidly beat all the competition even when including shipping and NY tax!).

I have an old Mackie 1202, any idea if these ears fit on it?
If its an RM11202VLZ or a MS1202 - VLZ Pro Mixer they will work fine.
