Use Sky Watcher's Star Adventurer Ball Head Adapter to mount a DLSR camera onto your Star Adventurer EQ for long exposure or time-lapse wide-field astrophotography. The adapter fits onto the mount's Vixen-style saddle and is equipped with a 3/8"-16 thread screw to accept a user-supplied photo ball head.
This is the perfect adaptor to connect a conventional ballhead to the vixen style dovetail clamp on the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTI. Allows for easy mounting and dismounting of a ballhead mounted camera. There is an indent on the side of the adapter that provides positive mating when the vixen clamp bolt is tightened. Threaded 3/8 bolt on the adaptor top fits standard ballheads. Well made with a nice anodized finish. Very handy and indispensable when wanting to mount a DSLR/ballhead combo on the Star Adventurer GTI. B&H sales and shipping was great.
