The green and black Quantum LD38S 32mm Thermal Monocular from Pulsar is intended for detection and monitoring of heat emanating from wildlife, game, animal stock, faulty wiring and piping, structural and insulation defects, running engines and human bodies. With this device you can see those heat sources through fog, smoke and haze. The monocular features a micro-bolometer sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels, and 7.7µm to 13.2µm spectral sensitivity. The produced video output has refresh rate of 9 Hz and can be viewed via a built-in 640x480 OLED display, and relayed to an external monitor or a recording device using a video port. The OLED display combines higher efficiency with lower power consumption, while delivering brighter and higher contrast images than a similar LCD display.
