Lightweight, powerful, and versatile define the Olight H35 Wave LED Headlamp. Departing from traditional switching, it features an IR sensor that allows you to turn the light on and off, and change intensities with a literal wave of your hand. For more control, or if you're in a situation where your environment can affect the IR performance, you can opt to use the manual pushbutton switch. The light is outfitted with a neutral white LED emitter that strikes a balance of runtime, brightness, and beam throw. To precisely aim the light where you need it, the head tilts to a maximum of 55-degress.
Powering the light is a battery pack that can be worn on your belt. With the battery separate from the main light head, Olight was able to utilize a higher-capacity battery to increase the maximum output and runtimes. Carrying the battery on your belt or pack strap also lowers the light's weight to a featherweight 5.5 ounces, which greatly reduces stress on your head and neck to eliminate fatigue when wearing the light for long periods - such as when cave diving. To increase the overall usability of the Wave light, the battery pack can also be used to charge small electronics such as smartphones, cameras, and GPS units via the same USB port used to charge the battery itself.
