Yeah is pricey but this thing is solid. Metal internal frame and you can really snug the supplied nuts tight for the cold shoe. Removing the cold shoe and mounting on a small friction arm is really nice too!

Only four stars since it loosens up easily. But for the money it does the job. Not sure how much I can trust it when hand held.
