The FX-1000 from Farfisa is a compact General MIDI (GM) sound module that is perfect for those working with MIDI files. Also included with the GM sounds are some signature vintage Farfisa sounds and a selection of effects. When connected to a computer the unit is USB bus powered but for those occasions where there is no computer, a USB power adapter is included. A dedicated physical MIDI input allows the unit to respond both from the computer and an external MIDI controller simultaneously, thanks to dual full-MIDI systems. A single 1/4" TRS connector outputs a stereo analog signal.
