Tamron's unique construction allows you to take off and put back on the lenscap with a lenshood in the shooting position, and they are tight enough that they rarely fall off by accident like so many other supposed bargains will certainly do.  Available in the typical sizes between 52mm and 82mm.  If you put the function of something like a lenscap above other concerns then just try one-you won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CENTER PINCH TAMRON LENS CAPS Pros : Rugged, Easily Interchangeable Describe Yourself : Pro Photographer As a professional photographer and Magazine Editor I don't like to use filters such as a lens protecting device because it just adds two air glass surfaces to the mix. I always use Tamron center-pinch style caps on ALL my Canon lenses. Tamron lens caps are available in many sizes. Check the B&H catalog for the size you need. The center pinch removal and installation allows the cap to be installed or removed even with lens hoods in place. Most of the caps included with camera lenses have an edge pinch style cap which makes them very inconvenient to remove or install when a lens hood is in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than its Zeiss counterpart I bought this lens cap for my Zeiss 100 mm macro lens after reading online that the original Zeiss lens cap is lousy. Well, on receiving the lens, this turned out to be true, and I was happy that I had ordered this cap. I have experience with Tamron lens caps before, and they are among the best. They are sturdy and well-built, and I like the pinch-tabs that allow one to take off or put on the cap in spite of a lens hood - that is the big selling point of this cap. If you are looking for a replacement cap, I very highly recommend this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got one for a Canon lens! This very secure fitting cap is a lot easier to remove than a Canon cap when you have a lens hood on since the springs with which you secure it are near the center of the cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then Canon I bought this cap to replace original Canon one for 70-200mm f4 lens. With the hood on you cannot reach inside to take the original one off - Tamron design allows to do so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for the Zeiss 100mm Makro lens Very snug & secure cap, unlike the flimsy garbage cap that Zeiss supplies with their 100mm f2 makro lens. Have another one & a 77mm one for my Nikon 70-200 f4 & 17-55 f2.8 lenses, as cheap insurance, in the event that I get careless with my Nikon caps. (Ever have a cap slip out of your hands, while on a wooden bridge? Watch it roll around & HOPE it doesn't find a crack.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lens Caps Available Tamron caps have large easy to use buttons on the edges and are one of the few caps that have releases in the center for use with hoods. Canon and Nikon should be ashamed that they can't make a decent lens cap. These caps are so much easier to use that I'll leave a lens home until I can get one rather than us a Canon lens cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect fit around 6 months ago I lost my lens cap, so the first thing I did was replacing it with a cheap cap. here was my mistake , this cap was never in place. so I decided to look for the original cap. the 67 mm snap-on lens by tamron was perfect fit. now I don't have to weary of any scratches that can happen to my lens.
