Sensei LC-67 overview

  • 1Description

The 67mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap from Sensei is a front lens cap with a squeeze, spring, and snap-on mechanism. It is easy to put on and take off, especially when using a lens hood, and it stays on. Lens caps protect your lens from scratches, fingerprints, and the elements when the lens is not in use. It's always good to have a spare in your camera bag, too.

67mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 156.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG! A Lens Cap Such craftsmanship, never had such a elequent piece of plastic in my hand ever. The weight of the piece just screams quality. When it clicks into place on the front of the lens, you know that you will not be looking through the view finder and seeing ANYTHING. Consider your glass covered. Easy removal when exposing the front of your lens is desirable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful and affordable I misplaced at least a couple of original lens caps. The brand name caps are very expensite and don't work any better. I bought a bunch of these for 67mm and 72mm lenses. I now store my original caps in a safe place and use these instead. In some cases, these stay on the lens better than the originals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great cap, see Zeiss comments Looks and feels like a Nikon cap, except for the missing word Nikon on the front, at about half the price. Very secure cap. I bought this to use with a Zeiss 100mm makro lens. The Zeiss lens caps have a weak spring and feel insecure on the lens. There is one problem with using the Sensei cap on the Zeiss lens. The Zeiss lens hood fits so tightly that when it is flipped from the storage position to the deployed position it catches on the Sensei cap and knocks it off. Once the hood is flipped the Sensei cap can be removed and securely replaced easily and it functions much better than the Zeiss cap. I have had the Zeiss cap fall off several times when flipping the lens hood, but Sensei is slightly focally wider and the Sensei cap falls off every time the hood is removed unless the cap is first removed. I have not tried a Nikon cap with this lens, but would expect it to behave like the Sensei since they appear identical functionally to me. When carrying the Zeiss lens in a bag the Sensei would be much more secure during jostling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy this again. I clipped it on the lens and it stayed on. Worked just as it should, at a very reasonable price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Proper build, Discrete Black & Low Cost So, why four stars? 'Cos it didn't come with Nikon on the face. I could have paid lots more for that, right? But then I dislike loud advertising and my Camera Straps are Domki. No, should be five stars, ridiculously low cost, must not use the word cheap. So far a solid fit onto the Hoya 67mm Protection Filter I also bought for a Nikon DX Zoom of mine. It looks like it's a Nikon Pinch-On and meant to be there, matches finish, discrete, good appearance. Don't hesitate, Buy it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meets the need, but poor build quality I purchased this as lens cap for my RitzGear Variable ND filter which mounts on my Canon Rebel T5i 18-55mm lens, which has a 58mm thread. The variable filter steps up to a larger size, and I had to guess what size of cap I needed. This 67mm lens fits just right, but it is poorly constructed, such that the pinch-release is not smooth. So for the money, it does what I need it too, but I would not buy it again. Love the B&H experience though -- it's easy to find what I need, they are reasonably priced, and ship very quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite good for the price! I lost my original Nikon camera lens cap after it slpped out of my grip, rolled off of the boat I was on, and sunk slowly into the phantom depths of Lake Michigan. I purchased this Sensei 67mm cap to replace it for $ free shipping. I should have purchased two of them, in case of a repeat. This cap snaps on very nicely, and is a great fit; actually I think it may even fit a little better than the original. My only problem with these pinch-on caps is that just by their functional design they are bound to snip out of your finger grip. But otherwise, very good product. It would be 5 Star if there was someway to assure a better finger-pinch grip. The idea of having a cap dangling from a security cord and flapping in the wind doesn't appeal to me, so I guess I will take my chances. Thx!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 67mm Pinch Lens Cap Easier to use than OM lens caps, fits some filters that OM lens cap does not. A necessity for any lens with a hood, and recommended for all lenses to replace OM cap.
