The DigiFlex DXB-2W2A2J-5 Full Duplex Video, Audio, and RS-485 Data Transceiver System from Meridian Technologies transceives 2 bi-directional 10-bit, 7 MHz NTSC/PAL video, 2 bi-directional audio (600 Ohm, balanced), and 2 bi-directional 2-wire RS-485 data over one fiber. For proper operation, it is necessary to match this unit with its associated DXA-2W2A2J-5 unit. This system is compatible with Meridian's PC based SpectraSmart, a network management and remote diagnostic software system. SpectraSmart supervises the operating parameters of the transmission system such as status on audio parameters, carrier detect, voltage, temperature, optical levels, and data activity.
The DXB-2W2A2J-5 system is available as rack mount card that can be installed in all of Meridian's card chassis, desk chaises and 19" racking frames. It can be configured in either star (module to rack) or trunking (rack to rack) configurations. It can also be made a standalone system by using the separately available SR-1000/S, 2 slot desk/wall mount chassis (87 to 264 VAC)
