Has worked as it should for years with no issue.

I had the same experience as the others. My unit just stopped working. Can anybody recommend a better quality Pinch?

question

The description says it has a 7.2V output for powering DSLR's but the image shows a 7.4V. Which is it? Can I hook this up safely to a A7sII and is the output regulated? Should I rather use an IndiPRO Tools PTSA7 D-Tap to Sony a7 Dummy Battery but waste a Dtap port?
Asked by: Claude
It is a 7.4V jack. It can be used for cameras that use 7.2V or 8.4V (and anything in between).

question

If I wanted to power an Atomos Flame off one of the DC outputs, is that possible and what cable would I need?
Asked by: Scott
Nothing - use the D-tap that comes with your Flame, or the barrel cable and a 12V port that comes with the VBP-01

question

If I plug in my Powerbase 70 battery (14.8v) to the input can I use the 15v output to power my BMPC 4k?
Asked by: Anonymous
We imagine you mean plugging the Powerbase via the D-tap of the Pinch and then using a cable you have to power the BMPC 4K. This is an unknown combination and therefore, if you proceed you do at your own risk. It probably will work; do test with a multi-tester meter before doing so. Otherwise we do recommend using a V mount battery with this or the appropriate cable with the Powerbase to power your BMPC 4K.

question

I want to use this plate for my fs700 rig and use with Pag link V mount batteries, will this work ? :/
Asked by: Robert T.
For the most part V-Mount Batteries are interchangeable, so your Pag Link V-Mount batteries should work fine with this plate. You would just need a cable to connect the plate to the FS700. For that I recommend a PowerTap to Sony L Series battery cable.

question

will this work with the Panasonic EVA-1? or do I need to purchase additional cables etc?Cheers!
Asked by: Rob
Yes, this battery pinch will work with the EVA-1. You will just need Lanparte's DC-50-10, which is B&H # LADC5010.https://bhpho.to/2pafe6n

this plate rod bracket will hold 1.5kg heavy v mount battery ?
Asked by: Hayk
Yes it will, just as long as the baseplate you are using with the 15mm rods can handle the amount.

Do any of those cables suit a Sony PXW-Z280 ? (XDCAM) for 12V DC in ?
Asked by: Paul
We are not aware of a cable in this kit, or elsewhere, that will allow you to power the Z280 from this battery pinch at this time.

What's the voltage of the input port? I want to charge a 14.8V V-Mount battery, and I don't want to damage it or reduce its life span.
Asked by: Alejandro
Unfortunately, little information is provided regarding the input port. Please reach out to Lanparte at [email protected] to find out the voltage for the input port.
