Power your camera rig with the LanParte VBP-01 V-Mount Battery Pinch. Featuring multiple power outputs and an integrated HDMI splitter, this unit provides effective power and video signal management. Three barrel jacks provide 12, 7.4, and 5 VDC of power output to different rig components, while a USB output is available for charging your mobile or wireless device. A barrel jack power input can charge the battery while tethered. Using the integrated 15mm LWS rod clamp, this battery plate can be mounted onto the rear of a shoulder rig. Having the device in this configuration allows you to use it and the battery as a counterweight for an otherwise front-heavy rig.

VBP-01 V-Mount Battery Pinch is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I've been looking for! This is gold for those who are tired of replacing batteries on 5 different pieces of gear. Fuels my 7D mark ii & my monitor and gives me a lot of expansion options for the future. It did not however work well with my Tascam DR-70D. The Tascam can be powered by a usb & the VBP-01 has a USB out, but there was a lot of noise & distortion on the audio when it was plugged in. Went to batteries & it went away. Might have been a bad usb, but don't think so. Otherwise this is the perfect choice to simplify your power situation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from audio noise problem fix. I own three of these units purchased on Amqzon. The noise problem with audio devices like my Tascam DR60-mkII and the DR70 is that there is a ground loop. This is caused by the shielding on the audio cable. It creates a ground loob back to the ground causing the ripple and high frequency sound you hear on the camera's recording. Lanparte admits they know of this problem. The trick is to eliminate the shielding in the audio cable going between the Tascam and camera.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great, until it didn't This pinch does really well with power distribution and everything that it says it will. The D.C. Cables are very useful too with accessories. I had this for about 5 months and it suddenly stopped working. I can't get it to power on with any of my v-mounts and believe it has something to do with the pins connecting into the battery.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Causes Noise in Picture & Audio I bought mine a year ago and have always used it with a Maxtor battery to power my Atomos Ninja Recorder while on long shoots. I've tried using Lanparte's GH4 dummy battery to go from the VBP-01 to my GH4 for power, but the battery won't let me custom white balance while connected, which to me is a big deal. Therefore, I'm not powering my camera through the VBP-01. Another device I'm choosing not to power through the VBP-01 is my Zoom H5, due to the bad grounding from the USB port on the VBP-01. So if you look at the situation, I basically paid $250 for a Maxtor Battery, then another $212 for the VBP-01 Battery Pinch, and $40 for the Lanparte GH4 dummy battery, yet due to the issues I believe are all caused by bad grounding on the VBP-01, I'm really only powering my Atomos Ninja Recorder. That sucks! I paid over $500 for an all in one power solution for my rig, but I can't even use the setup for more than one device. I have also had an issue with rolling horizontal banding or flickering show up on my footage from time to time, which again I suspect is due to bad grounding from the VBP-01. To sum it up, I thought this battery pinch was a great solution at first, but after owning it for a year and discovering all the stupid grounding problems it has, I decided I'm moving on to a better quality battery pinch. I would not recommend buying the VBP-01, because you will lose out on your investment, possibly ruin your footage, and discover you most likely won't want to power all of your devices through it. WASTE OF MONEY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent! This product works great! I use it with the GH5 and Maxoak Battery, my only complaint is that the cable that was included used for the lanparte dummy battery does not fit,But the lanparte dummy battery came with the right cable connection , other wise I would have given it 5 stars
