The BLF19P-01 will not be compatible with the DMC-G85 because the batteries are different sizes. It will work with Panasonic GH3, GH4, GH5, GH5S, and G9 cameras.

It is our understanding that chip will monitor the battery level. Note: this is to be used with the Lanparte Pinch battery.

what type power supply is needed for that type connector on power side ?
You will need 7.2 to 8.4 volts DC with the correct size male barrel connector (I believe it's 5.5mm x 2.1mm).
