I have a canon 5D11 and a 70D, when I purchase this product, the spec say it was compatible with the mention camera, I purchase all my equipment from B&H, this is the reason I bought this product with confidence, but the dummy battery is not working with either camera, don't buy this product its a waste of money, it don't even deserve a one star.

I bought three of these batteries and they worked for 15 hours straight, shooting a time lapse movie (three separate cameras with three batteries). Still 1 of 4 LED light was on (on the battery).

I got this product about a month ago and I barely had to recharge it because it went from 4 to 3 dots illuminated. This thing is crazy I shoot about twice a week on an average of 2 hours per shoot and this battery just will not die!

This is a great external power solution, but the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it gave me a scare the second week I had it. It refused to charge. I was ready to send it back. Then I decided to hook it back up to the camera and try to charge it that way. It worked, but I figured it would be defeating the purpose to keep it hooked up to the camera, so I detached it. It continued charging and haven't given me any issues since then.

Tried it on my 6D, my 70D, and my 5DS. Didn't work on any of them. Disappointed that B&H would even sell this garbage.

question

Can this work with the atmos shogun flame and inferno
Asked by: Kwesi T.
I'm afraid not. The Shogun Flame and Shogun Inferno do not use Canon LP-E6 Style Batteries. However if you purchase B&H # ATOMDTPCB1 to go along with a Shogun Flame or Shogun Inferno you will be able to power the monitors from any number of batteries that have a D-Tap Accessory Port.https://bhpho.to/2joKWiAhttps://bhpho.to/2xOBo67

Can this be used to power the camera from a wall outlet or is the AC adapter/charger only meant for CHARGING the battery and not actually RUNNING the camera?
Asked by: Michael
Yes this is meant to run a camera from a wall outlet, it will not charge a battery, it is strictly using a dummy battery.
