Axis Communications P8524 Overview

The Axis Communication P8524 Covert Pinhole HD PoE Network Camera System includes a sensor unit and main unit. The sensor unit, made up of a pinhole lens and image sensor, is installed inside a silver rectangular height strip with a metric indicator. The sensor unit is mounted at a height of 5.5’ and features a 26’ Ethernet cable for connection to the main unit, which can be placed out of public view. This 720p HDTV camera offers a wide 57° horizontal field of view. The sensor unit can be adjusted ±30° to set the desired viewing direction.

The main unit houses connections for the sensor unit, network, power, input/output to external devices for enhanced alarm management, and a microSD card slot for local storage of recordings. The camera supports PoE and is suitable for discreet indoor video surveillance in retail, hotel, and banking environments.
