Numark M6 Overview

The black M6 USB from Numark is a four-channel DJ mixer well suited for clubs, professionals, and home enthusiasts. The integrated USB audio interface is class compliant and connects to either Mac or PC without the need for drivers. Play music from any optional DJ software and record the mix into any audio recording application.

The M6 features a 3-band EQ per channel, dedicated microphone input with EQ, and a replaceable crossfader with slope control. The master output offers balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA jacks, while booth and recording outputs are available via RCA connections. The M6 USB ships with a USB cable and a standard IEC power cord.

No bells, no whistles, no problems. The Numark M6 is built to last and provides all the necessary input channels and a master out to handle most home studio needs. My AT LP140XP pairs very well with the M6. Audio quality is great and it doesn’t put a dent in your finances purchasing one. Very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it.

If you're looking for just a mixer without all the other effects and such, then this is the one you want. It is a professional 4 ch mixer that gets the job done

Not directly. You would need to buy a Rekordbox DVS interface to connect your turntables to, then run the ouputs of that interface into the Numark M6. The M6 by itself will not be compatible with Rekordbox. Here is an interface option: BH #PI2CIFRBX .

which output has a high enough output for sampling into an Akai mpc1 ?

Thanks for your question. The MPC One has TRS Line inputs. You will need an adapter, but any of the line outs will work. The Main LR's can be used, or any of the other RCA line outs. You will need an XLR to TRS adapter, and/or a RCA to TRS adapter.

The Numark M6 has a built in audio interface that can be used to record to virtually any audio recording application. It does not interface with any DJ software directly.
