The wirelessly-controlled silver zim 3D Printer from Zeepro uses two extruders to create objects as fine as 50 microns in sizes up to 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9". Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to select and send files to the zim for printing, and watch a live feed of your print being captured and broadcast by the onboard camera.
The zim uses Zeepro cartridges that feed filament into the printer automatically. These cartridges transmit information about the filament's physical properties, which the zim uses to configure settings that will best ensure a quality print. Use ABS or PLA filament for the body of your build, and use soluble PVA filament to print support structures that can be dissolved in water when your project is completed.
The zim is built from a heavy, solid piece of aluminum to minimize vibrations that can reduce print quality. The build platform is made of heat-resistant glass that is precisely positioned with magnets. Several 3D models and two PLA cartridges are included with the zim, so you can start printing as soon as you open the box.
