how does this work on the 56mm? and how do I check to see what other lenses it will fit on? i donot see any lens measures like my 56mm is a 62, my 50-140 is a 72
Extension tubes fit between the back of the lens and the camera body to reduce the minimum focus distance of any lens you put on it. It's another way to get macro levels of magnification. You're referencing filter sizes for various lenses: 62, 72. Filter size is totally irrelevant with extension tubes. So, yes, this will work on the 56mm. and the 50-140, and many more.

What macro tube would be useful with a 23mm lens? I bought the MCEX-16 but I have to be inches away to get it focus..
I use my MCEX with a 60mm to achieve an almost 1:1 magnification. I find it very useful.
You can find a spreadsheet for the MCEX 11 & 16 that details focal distances and magnification factors per Fuji lens. I have found it reliable.

I have a XS20 and the use mm23 lens and I just bought the MCEX-16 tube and nothing is working. Am I doing something wrong or does the macro not work with my camera?
The extension tube only focuses at the lens minimum focus distance with the extension attached. If your extension tube combination exceeds the amount of mm of your lens it can not focus because the magnification is higher than what's permitted by the optics in the lens.

Looking at the magnification chart the extension tubes don't seem to get the 80mm close to the subject. How is that possible?
Hi, this is the shortest extension tube, so it has the least effect, but using it, the 80mm lens goes from a magnification of 1.0 to 1.19, and the minimum focus distance goes from 98mm to 89mm.

Is there a benefit to pairing this with the Fuji XF 18-135? Would this allow me to do macro photography? Or is it pointless being that i can zoom in on the subject.

Is it possible to also use an M adapter so I can use my Leica lens for macro work? So, I would have the Extension Tube for X-mount + the M mount adapter.
Unfortunately, the MCEX-11 hasn't been tested along with a Leica M to Fuji X adapter at the same time to our knowledge. Your results may vary.

This will work on all the above lenses. I used with the 18-55 lenses. At very short focal length, the front element of the lens will be very close to the subject. I usually use this with the 18-55 zoomed out to 55 mm.
