The 5D Mark III features a 22.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5+ image processor to enable up to 6 fps continuous shooting and full HD 1080p video recording with an expandable sensitivity range to ISO 102400. Benefitting the imaging performance is a 61-point High Density Reticular AF system, which includes 5 central dual cross-type points and 41 other cross-type points for refined precision and speed when working in difficult lighting conditions and with moving subjects. In addition to a large 0.71x magnification pentaprism viewfinder, a 3.2" 1,040k-dot Clear View II LCD screen is also available for bright live view monitoring and image playback.
