I like it
Fit is good, saw some reviews saying it didn't fit snugly which is nonsense. You have to slide the thing over your camera, not paint it on. Thickness is good as well, i'm too lazy to break it out and measure but it's just right. I got a red one and it looks pretty shnazzy too. This will definitely stop me from worrying about mucking up my camera body which was the intended purpose. 4 star review because I don't give perfect reviews unless there is a compelling enough reason to. Otherwise it's exactly what I expected and I am happy with it.

Protecting your gear
A Camera Armor user, the easyCover version is much slimmer and actually conformed better keeping the bulkyness down. Addig girth to proect your hardware from dings and dents are a trade off I'm willing to make. Because easyCover is thinner, you risk tearing it in places that are extra thin like near the view screen where there is a gasket like construction where the screen shield slips into, which in the Camera Armor version is an improvement to keeping dust out better.

Never leave your camera unprotected
One of the best accessories for the price. I dropped my camera many years ago and the slight looking damage ended up being very expensive to repair. Since then I've never had a camera without a silicone protection cover. My camera recently fell out of my camera bag that wasn't properly closed and the cover did it job superbly. No one intentionally drops or bangs their gear, but with my dog and other gear in tow while hiking around in the woods or the city, this cover is piece of mind knowing my expensive camera is protected from most bangs and bumps. Cons; difficult to read what each function button does, but with time you memorize their functions and locations.

Feels nice but doesn't allow all functions
I bought this mostly because I don't like the rough feel of my camera. The cover is nice and smooth. I wouldn't say it is especially protective since there are so many holes in it. But the biggest problem is that the top wheel is covered and impossible to rotate. The buttons are not easy to push through the silicon either, and you will have to memorize their names- impossible to read. I suppose it might be nice to prevent bumps and scratches, but I find it unusable for quick access to all essential functions.

Heads Up on a Hot Product
My first purchase with B&H. Shipped the case from USA to New Zealand. Absolutely easy! As for the case, what a great piece of kit for the 7D II. If you are using the cam for sports/action or anything mobile, this is a must have at a great price. Buy it. -Greg from NZ

Muy buena proteccin
Como fotgrafo de naturaleza y viajes, utilizo el protector en mis viajes ms agrestes. Es perfecto para proteger la cmara del barro, polvo, arena y agua salada. Los botones son fciles de usar, toca apretar un poco ms, pero con el tiempo se suaviza la silicona y queda como un guante.
