why is the G lens, not D lens?
I found the solution. Put tilt/shift D lens on Nikon body, choose aperture you want, I always use f11. While holding down DOF button, remove lens and put onto the adapter. Only issue you have fixed aperture on S1, not a problem for me with my tilt shift usage. Dont knowcif an issue with other D lenses as I don't have any to try.

The review by Norman concerns me. Will the adaptor be difficult to remove from my SL2 body? Investing in a high priced product, the more information one gathers, the better. Can the company guarantee that no damage should occur to the SL body?
None of the other 14 reviewers of this product mentioned any problem attaching the adapter and a few even noted that the fit was very good. These are subjective reviews, so it's best to look at them in the overall context.

Thanks, it work so well with Leica SL2, it is easy if set the aperture close all the way with blue ring. then put adapter to the camera body, at last attach the lens to adapter. Use the lens aperture ring to adjust the right exposure.

If the Panasonic S5 has an "L" mount it ought to work. There are no electic pins, terminals involved.

Will the Nikon F to Leica T adapter work for a Zeiss ZF (Nikon mount) lens on the Leica SL?
I am not sure about a Zeiss lens since i have not tried one. I have tried both Nikon and Sigma lenses with Nikon mounts and both produced excellent quality Pictures. As I am sure you know the adapter is just a physical connection to the camera so the camera adjustement for focus and exposure are all manual so it takes a little more planning. I used a sigma 150-600 sport to take some bird pictures While I was waiting for my new D5 and the results were great. I am seriously considering buying an Otus 85mm for use on both cameras.
