Expensive, does not work well

This was expensive: it does not hold position well. I'm setting up for a podcast right now and--again--watching the mic sink down and trying to think where else I can mount it so it will stay put. I've had this for a couple years and have always been disappointed with it. Every time I watch it fail I think i must be doing something wrong, but it's not me, its the ball swivel--you cannot tighten it enough to get it to hold its place. Not worth the extra money it costs
