I have an iPhone 7 with the Otter case. The case is ~9/16" thick and the product highlights specify 1/2" thick case to work. Is there another model of the Luxi that I should get?
I am not aware of another model. You are probably best taking the phone out of the case. The plastic might bend enough for the extra 1/16" but could break.

Luxi doesn't provide the measurements. The dome is about an inch in diameter. It will fit phones up to 1/2 deep.

Hello, I would like to make sure it works with Android devices before I purchase it? I saw some answers in the comments, but they are quite old, and I couldn't find the app on the Play Store.
After reaching out to Luxi, unfortunately they have confirmed that the App is only available for iOS devices (iPhone). There is no longer an app available for android.

Yes, the Luxi for All Light Meter Attachment for Mobile Devices
BH #LUESDHW906 will work with any iOS device which has a front-facing camera, including all iPhones, all iPads except for the first-generation model, and all iPods Touch with a front-facing camera. It will also work with any case which is less than half an inch in thickness at the point where the phone's front-facing camera is located.

The Luxi for All Light Meter does not measure color temperature with the Luxi app. You can experiment with other apps. Some third party apps do work for color temperature, such as Cine Meter II for iOS only.
