The lightweight housing is nitrogen-filled and o-ring sealed for fogproof performance while being completely submersible. The rubberized armor offers protection from impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip, especially in cold and wet weather even while wearing gloves. A twin-hinged closed-bridge design gives the binocular a solid feel in the hand, while enabling it to be folded down to a tight and compact form-factor for space-saving stowage. Four-position twist-up click-stop eyecups makes it comfortable to use with or without eye wear, while the knurled fast-focus wheel enables easy focusing with either hand.
