Yes you will need to refocus every time you zoom in or out.

Given the lenses this is designed to work with, can we safely assume it will work with any APS-C lens at least as wide as 17mm?
The Schneider Digital Cinema Wide-Angle Adapter is designed specifically for the Cabrio 14-35 mm and 19-90 mm Cabrio, but also works well with the 20-120mm Cabrio as well. We have not tested it with other lens models.
