Is it useful at the long end of a tele-zoom? Say 100-150 of a 14-150 Olympus.

Will the Vivitar 2.2x Telephoto Conversion Lens Attachment for 58mm Threads work reasonably well on a Panasonic FZ35? I am seeing reviews of converter lenses that suggest that they will not work well with long telephoto lenses.

To use an-add-on lens on the Panasonic FZ35 you need an adapter, DMW-LA3 Lens Adapter. But it has been discontinued. If you have that part the correct telephoto conversion lens is the DMW-LT55, 55mm.

The Vivitar 2.2x Telephoto Conversion Lens Attachment for 58mm Threads is recommended for use on cameras with built-in lenses and camcorders. I personally recommend purchasing an interchangeable lens for use on the Canon EOS Digital REbel T5 DSLR camera for the best image quality. The Vivitar 2.2x Telephoto Conversion Lens Attachment for 58mm Threads is designed to connect to the filter threads of the lens, not directly to the camera. As such, if the lens you own has 58mm filter threads, you could connect the Vivitar conversion lens onto the camera, but you may get better image quality from a dedicated telephoto lens designed for use on the Canon EF or EF-S lens mount.
