Capable of driving geared focus, zoom, or iris on your prime or zoom lenses, the DLM1 Digital Lens Control Motor from Element Technica features a medium torque capable motor suitable for optional zoom and prime lenses. The 0.8 pitch drive gear magnetically attaches and can be easily switched to either side of the drive for positioning it on the rods or for easy gear reversing.
The lens control motor incorporates dovetail mounting slots on both sides providing flexibility and mounts to your support rods using the included quick clamps that fit on 19mm rods or 15mm rods with the included adapter. The motor features a LEMO 7-pin connector housing that rotates 300° and will lock in place.
Quick-Clamps
The Digital Lens Motor attaches to 19/15mm rods using a split clamp that allows you to add or remove the motor to your set up without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories. The clamp mounts on 19mm rods and uses a split adapter to mount onto 15mm rods.
Dual Mounting Dovetails
Mounting dovetails on either side of the motor allow you to attach it to the Quick-Clamp, so you can easily change the orientation of the drive. You can use this to your advantage when positioning the motor or if you have to reverse direction of the drive.
The drive gear attaches magnetically instead of needing to be attached by a thumbscrew. This avoids potential dragging of the drive gear as the magnets hold the gear fast without binding.
The cable connector rotates 300° and locks in place making for neater cable connections and less stress on your equipment.
