The 2.4 GHz, 9-Channel Transmitter for IRIS Quadcopter from 3D Robotics is a handheld radio controller used to operate the aircraft. It features a standard RC-style dual stick design plus includes auxiliary switches dedicated to operating specific functions, such as raising or lower a gimbal. The transmitter features a display screen for showing vital flight telemetry data, such as life left on the flight battery.
Note: The transmitter must be bound to your aircraft prior to operation. Please refer to the copter's Operation Manual for details.
Mode 2 Configuration
In Mode 2, the left stick controls throttle and yaw while the right controls pitch and role
Status Display
A status screen allows you to view aircraft flight telemetry data, such as range, altitude, remaining battery, and more
Flight Mode Selector
Dedicated dial with options for STD (Standard), LTR (Loiter Mode), and Auto
Channel 7 Switch
By default flipping the CH 7 (channel 7) switch on will cause the copter to land at its present position
Return to Launch (RTL) Switch
Flipping this switch cause the copter to return to the spot from which it took off (proper GPS calibration required)
Tilt Dial
With this dial, you can tilt the separately available Tarot Gimbal up or down
