Meade Series 5000 5mm Mega Wide Angle Eyepiece (1.25")

Designed to deliver an immersive observation experience, Meade's Series 5000 5mm Mega Wide Angle Eyepiece has an 9-element lens configuration that delivers an expansive 100° apparent field of view, with anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics and blackened edges that work together to produce bright and clear high-contrast images with virtually no distortion across the entire field of view. The contrast is enhanced by a fold-down rubber eyecup that prevents stray light from leaking into your eye, and the long eye relief ensures comfortable viewing during long observation sessions. This waterproof eyepiece is parfocal with the other eyepieces in this series, so there will be little or no need to refocus when you change eyepieces. This optical accessory features a 1.25" diameter barrel to fit the most common size drawtubes and filters, and a ribbed rubber collar provides a sure grip for handling the eyepiece.
