AMD W4100 Overview

Drive up to four displays simultaneously with the AMD FirePro W4100 Graphics Card while only consuming 50 watts at full tilt. The FirePro W4100 has 2GB of GDDR5 vRAM and 512 stream processors arranged in AMD's GCN (Graphics Core Next) Architecture. The output panel of the card has four Mini DisplayPort 1.2 ports. Each output can support up to 4K (4096 x 2160) resolution.

Not only for driving displays, the FirePro W4100 can be put to work as a hardware accelerator. Using its 512 stream processors, the W4100 can assist with tasks that require parallel processing, such as video or graphics rendering. This card supports industry standard APIs like OpenCL, OpenGL, and DirectX. At single precision, the GPU can crank out 645.1 GFLOPS.

This card is compact and will fit in more compact chassis without crowding or overheating. The card features an active fansink which intakes air and blows it out across the components, quietly displacing hot air.

GCN (Graphics Core Next) Architecture
The 28nm GCN Architecture with more efficient process technology puts more transistors in less space, enabling an increase in processing power and graphics performance.
