Great Case for QSC Touchmix 8

The QSC Touchmix 8 comes with a soft case, but since I travel so much I wanted to get something extra protective since it's such and expensive piece of gear. This road case is awesome! Perfect to store the Touchmix itself, power cable and I keep my ipad mini, in-ear monitors and headphone extension in the box as well. I highly recommend this case if you travel a lot and are looking for some sturdy protection for your Touchmix.

Had I realized that the QSC Touchmix comes with a very nice custom case, I don't think I would have spent the extra few dollars to buy the kit that came bundled with this case. There's no question that if you plan to be using your gear on the road, getting it bumped around and rained on while loading and unloading in the elements, this is going to offer better protection than the OEM included case. Also, the OEM case has QSC emblazoned upon it, which tends to advertise that there's something expensive inside, versus this nondescript case.

How well does thius fit the Mackie DL-1608? Looks like it will work fine...

The case has Custom-cut PE foam to fit the QSC TouchMix-8. It has a removable foam section to fit the TouchMix-16. I would advise getting a case that was designed for the Mackie as well.
