The LanParte LANC Start/Stop Controller is compatible with all cameras that feature a 2.5mm LANC port. This compact controller connects to the camera with an included coiled cable and allows you to control record start and stop without touching the camera. It can be used clamped onto standard LanParte handgrips, sold separately, or you can remove the clamp to reveal a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole and mount the controller on various supports.
I am using this with my Helix Jr 3-axis gimbal + ZCAM E2 so that I can hit record/stop without needing to take my hand off the gimbal to hit record on the camera. The Helix Jr 3-axis can be awkward if you don't keep your hands on the handles at all times and this LANC controller helps me to do that.
As I said I think this device is pretty pricey for what it does but the build is very good and it just works, only thing that i dont like is its too clicky not very good for silent use
