Capture high-resolution video both day and night with Speco Technologies' 960H Dual Voltage Fixed Lens Indoor Dome Camera with Night Vision, an analog camera in a white housing with a built-in 1/3" 960H CCD sensor. The sensor captures clear video in the 700 TVL resolution as well as supports 960H real-time recording when coupled with a compatible DVR. The benefit of 960H recording technology is that it provides 30% higher resolution images than conventional D1 cameras, but still makes the camera backward compatible when paired with a DVR with a lower recording resolution. Additionally, the camera's fixed 3.6mm lens captures wide-angle views and thereby reduces the traditional number of cameras needed to effectively monitor a large indoor space.
Beyond this, the camera's sensor automatically switches from color daytime video to black-and-white video as light levels diminish. Also, in black-and-white Night Vision mode, the camera's 24 built-in IR LEDs illuminate figures and moving objects in darkness up to a distance of 65' depending on light reflectance. In addition, to these technologies, the camera also comes with a robust set of image control settings and allows users to manually adjust white balance, digital noise reduction, exposure as well as set video motion detection and privacy masking zones.
Lastly, the video capture can be easily viewed on a TV or monitor thanks to the camera's BNC output. Users also have the ability to connect to a 960H or lower DVR to record video and take full advantage of the camera's built-in monitoring features. Along with the camera, mounting hardware, a test monitor lead, and DC lead are also included. However, keep in mind that a 12 VDC or a 24 VAC power supply is required; Speco Technologies offers the PSW5, a 12 VDC power supply or the PSW4, a 24 VAC power supply that are sold separately.
