The Sachtler Camera Rollpak combines the portability of a backpack with the convenience of built-in wheels and a trolley handle. It is designed to fit a midsized camcorder up to about 18" long with a microphone, a viewfinder, and accessories attached. It features a wide U-shaped opening for rapid access to your rig and removable rigid internal dividers for custom configurations. Floor, viewfinder, and microphone compartments are reinforced with cold-molded laminate panels to provide additional protection for your gear. The pack can be worn on your back using padded shoulder straps, held using the carry handle, or rolled using the built-in wheels and retractable trolley handle.

How many dividers come with it? Would this be good for a Canon C300 and lenses?
There are 5 compartments in the bag with one of them being a half size divider. I fit my C100, 2 lenses, rode mics, studio headphones, target shooter and c100 z-finder in the main compartment. I was able to travel from the US to Barcelona with my all equipment (except tripod) in this bag.

Does this bag come in a version more suited to DSLR storage? The number of dividers seems unworkable for DSLR packing.
Unfortunately, Sachtler does not make a version of the Sachtler Camera Rollpak that comes with more dividers. A possible workaround is to use third-party touch-fastening dividers to get more compartments in the bag. Is this considered a carry-on?
The Sachtler Camera Rollpak is 21.3 x 14.2 x 12.8".
Most domestic airlines only allow a maximum of 22 x 14 x 9". This is larger than most airlines allow. Best check the with the airline regarding your specific flight as the requirements can vary.
