Grounding your external antenna protects against stray electrical charges from electrical shorts or lightning strikes as well as reducing noise from unwanted radio signals.
This kit includes 20' of 10 AWG ground wire and 15' of RG-6 satellite-rated coax cable, as well as a dual ground block. For a variety of grounding options, the kit also comes with a 12" ground strap, a ground clamp for cold water pipes, and a meter pan ground for connecting to a water meter pan.
