Elite Screens Yard Master Reviews

Instructions stink, but it's a great product

So I assembled this totally wrong because of bad instructions. Grab 'em and follow along. In Step 1, the side of the frame with the snaps should be up. In Step 4, ignore the photo. The legs have 2 sides. One side has a very long part. This part will be down towards the floor and will go under the frame when you slip the leg into the frame. You do flip out the short leg, which will face up. Use the short knob screw to connect the leg to the frame using the hole closest to where the leg joins the frame. You will need to wiggle the leg around then hold it into position for the knob to go into the screw hole. You don't unfold the long part and use the long knob screw until step 9. In step 7, I needed to snap corner A and the two snaps closest to it before I snapped opposite corner B, or corner A would pop out. Same with C. If I didn't snap the two snaps closest to B, then B would pop out. When you get to corners C and D, you will need 2 people, because one needs to hold the frame and be ready to snap, while the other person has to use the loop to pull with all of their might to stretch the screen so the male and female snaps line up. The instructions don't tell you that the last step before standing the frame up is to snap all of the snaps. Duh!

Brilliant screen for outdoor viewing

This screen has been a lifesaver for us during COVID lockdown giving us the opportunity to have friends and family over for safe movie nights outdoors, masked, and socially distanced. Almost universally the first comment out of guests' as soon as we start up a movie is how crisp and clean the image looks and how amazing the screen in general is; it's definitely living up to expectations. On the downside; the snap system for securing the screen to the frame requires some significant effort and is almost impossible if the weather dips into colder territory and the screen tightens up. The end result is a super smooth surface that never shows the folds or wrinkles from storage.
