This 135mm lens produces an 18.8° angle-of-view when used with a full-frame sensor camera. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of 2.6' from the lens. A removable lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box and the lens's threaded front accepts 77mm filter rings.

Ultra Multi Coated lenses minimize flare and ghosting, and the lenses are color matched to a standard eliminating the need to acquire an entire set of lenses at the same time.
Industry-standard gearing for focus and aperture rings. Each lens in the Rokinon DS series share common focus and iris gear ring positions, which speeds up lens changes as accessories such as follow focus units or iris motors don't have to be re-positioned.
"Declicked" aperture ring for smooth iris pulls.
A removable lens hood provides flare protection without a matte box.
The lens opens up to T2.2, providing the capability for low light shooting or creating extremely shallow depth of field.

I've only had this lens for a little over a week, but I've already taken probably 100 photos using it, and am very happy with the results. Sharp images, great glass, just like my other Ribinon lenses.

I've used many quality lens in many situations.. and I can safely say this lens stacks up well against anything out there, in fact, I prefer this lens over some that cost 10x as much at times. Super sharp imagery and a look that is true cinema are attributes that make this lens great... not to mention that it's affordable to own - so I went out and bought a set of 6!

question

Will my canon 2x extender fit on this lens?
Asked by: Michael C.
Generally speaking, Canon 2x extenders are for Canon L lenses 135mm and over. Other combinations are not supported or recommended. That being said, you could try the combination and see if it fits. (Be careful the protruding glass element of the extender does not touch the rear glass element of the lens itself particularly with the lens is focused at infinity. It is unlikely a problem but caution is a good thing.) Look for loss of image quality in the form of poorer focus and chromatic aberration.

Is this lens compatible with the Z-CAM E2?
Asked by: IAN
I think you can use it with the Z-CAM E2 with a Nikon to MFT adapter. This will save a few dollars as the Nikon version is a bit less expensive. I assume the crop factor will function in similar fashion regardless of lens version. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=nikon to mft adapter

question

will this work with nikon dslr cameras?
Asked by: Earl
Yes, you can use this on Nikon DSLR's or any Nikon F mount camera. Do know it is manual only with no auto focus or electronic control of the aperture. It is optimized for video but works perfectly for stills as well.
