The JVC ProHD BR-DE800 Video Decoder is an IP decoding appliance for Video-over-IP delivery utilizing LAN and public networks. It features various output interfaces, including 3G/HD/SD-SDI, HDMI, and composite video. The ProHD BR-DE800 supports various streaming protocols including UDP and RTP and is equipped with the SMPTE 2022 FEC (forward error correction). It is suitable for use with the GY-HM200, GY-LS300, GY-HM650, GY-HM850, and GY-HM890 JVC professional streaming camcorders. Optional Zixi adaptive bit rate and sophisticated error correction protocol (separate license required) can compensate for up to 30% of packet loss when streaming over congested public networks. It comes in a fanless, portable design, and is appropriate for portable and desktop applications. A power supply is included.
