Canon PM-101 Reviews

Still a quality paper

for an everyday paper I've had good luck with Canon Matte and Semi-Gloss papers. Well priced and they do the job. The Matte Paper is a little confusing on which side to print on - found on the internet to just use the side that is whiter than the other. This seems to work.

Canon paper flimsy packaging

The paper is fine for the price, but has often arrived with at least one bashed corner (the whole stack). B&H adds their own protective corners for shipping, so this last box must have been damaged before that.

Canon tells me that Pro Premium Matte is not ...

Canon tells me that Pro Premium Matte is not compatible with the Chromalife 100+ ink system and does not receive the 100+ longevity rating? It says only the glossy, platinum and luster papers are compatible. What does this mean -- that Pro Premium Matte has no longevity?
Asked by: Donna
It is compatible with the Chromalife inks, it just means Canon has not tested it or offers a rating.

Does this paper need a UV Spray protector to set the inks so they don't smudge? And to add extra fade protection?
Asked by: Donna
Ink will not smudge, but always use a UV fade protection. Direct sunlight affects everything including ageing blank paper.
