    Sigma LVF-01 reviews

LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder for dp Quattro Cameras is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Accessory Although not indicated, this viewfinder comes with the bracket for attaching it to the camera. It is well designed and easy to use. It is as if the DP2 Quattro was designed to be used with the viewfinder. With this accessory, the camera goes from a clunky-shaped and difficult to use outdoor camera, to one that is a joy to use outdoors and easy to hold. The optical quality of the viewfinder is great and looking through it is nearly like looking through a 4x5 camera. Recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from expand the capabilities of an already amazing camera super for critical focus not only just in bright light where seeing the LCD screen is difficult or impossible. Makes composition much easier. Also, now I can see all of the menus without putting on my glasses. Only negative(and not a major one) is that if you want to put the camera in your pocket, you'll have to take the viewer off... I suspect that the who package will be an attention-getter....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Professional Quality Point and Shoot Let me start off by saying that the Sigma software doesn't support output conversion of the native proprietary X3F raw files into DNG. X3f's aren't recognized by Lightroom or Photoshop...yet, and so the highest quality is exported as Tiff files that are by no means Raw to edit. Other than that which is a solid deal-breaker for some, it is an absolutely brilliant camera that takes spot-on sharp, detailed photos with film-stock like color rendition. The highlights are often plagued by false color aberrations where the camera imparts some color to fill in the blown out parts, but it is workable in post. It is also quite slow, but I would recommend the DP3 Quattro solely on the quality alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Loupe, so-so bracket Love this loupe on my DP0Q. Held to the face, it really does provide a steady support. Well built as well, with a magnifying function and protective cap. But... the upper portion of the bracket tends to slightly bend away from the body with use, and if the sun is just right, light leaks get between body and bracket and onto the LCD occur. I've had to very gently bend mine back twice in the year Ive had the camera. Also, you have to remove the bracket to attach a strobe because it's just a little too tall for a strobe to slide into the hotshoe. 5 stars for the mag, 3 for the bracket, 4 stars overall.
