question

Hi, I would like to use it as external mount for my remote, so the flash still works. would this be ok to use with G16 mounted all together in a day trip tripod? Or do you have any other recommendation?
Asked by: Arvie O.
This bracket can be used to add more shoe mounts or you may use the Vello CB-510 bracket which would also sit between the camera and the tripod's quick release plate.

question

Do you recommend this bracket or theVello CB-510 to use with a flash and a remote? This is to be used for weddings. Thanks.

It should be fine with a flash and remote. Just keep in mind this is meant to go over the lens not the camera. Also, if you need to move around handheld I do not recommend this, it is tedious to anchor the camera securely, and if you move around it might come undone, same with the flash brackets. It is fine with a tripod through.

Do the shoes move quickly to keep the flash and bounce the same between landscape and portrait shots?
Asked by: Neal
The shoes of the Ziv Dual Shoe C Bracket will adjust easily via the adjustments knobs and will easily adjust to another location. The speed of how quickly the shoes moves, will be determined on how fast the user moves.

question

Can I use this bracket to mount 1 microphone and 1 camcorder on a tripod such that the camcorder points straight ahead and the microphone points 40 degree away from the direction of the camcorder ?
Asked by: Thanh
This bracket will allow you to mount the camera and a mic on a tripod. The mount will also allow you to point the mic in a different direction. Not sure about 40 degrees, but it does allow you to change the direction of the mic.

question

Can this hold the weight of a speedlight or would it be flimsy? Also, I am using the Nissin Di700 speedlight, the shoe mount is very tight on these flashes, would it be possible for an employee to test and see if the cold shoe on this bracket would fit well with the Di700 speedlight? Thank you!
Asked by: Jason D.
It certainly can hold a speed light. I am using it with an Atomos Ninja Blade and a Sennheiser shotgun microphone attached to it. However, it is not very sturdy and for controlled situations on a tripod only.
