PortaBrace AR-DR70D Reviews
Doesn't really fit so well
The largest problem is the very tiny view port area. It really does not fit so well and the controls are not very accessible. Worse still, there appears to be no way to fold back the rain screen so it is out of your way. It just sits there.
Cheap and useless.
I am a huge Porta Brace fan but this case is not worth a penny. I bought this case thinking it would be just like the Porta Brace case I’m used to using for the past 20 years for all of my recorders. This case is nothing like the others I’ve had for my DAP1 or my FP33 or my SD722. First off it’s made from cheap thin nylon that provides no protection. There is zero padding in this case. There is no way to attach it to a mixer in a “real” Porta Brace case making it a useless case. Porta Brace should be ashamed to put their name on this case. The DR70 is a cheap recorder and tho case is just total junk. Big thumbs down. I highly discourage anyone from buying this case. A sandwich bag would serve the same purpose, or better, as this case. Returning this rag tomorrow.
