This electronic download of the EarMaster Pro 6 Teacher Edition from eMedia Music is training software for musicians of all levels and includes two complete courses with over 2,000 exercises for sight-singing, ear training, and rhythm study, from beginner level to advanced. The teacher edition allows for the customization of introductions used by instructors, as well as theoretical background information and audio examples. As a student moves through the exercises, the difficulty level is raised automatically to match their skills.
Customizing activities for students is simple. If a student needs practice with specific intervals, chords or scales, or if you would like to create hardcore training setups for students to prepare for exams, there are selection options in the Activity Setup Window. Additionally, the included Jazz Course will train your students to recognize and play swing rhythms.
Most of the exercises can be used with a microphone to sing or clap answers in real-time. Students can also plug-in an electric guitar or a MIDI keyboard to play their answers. An "adaptive questions" feature analyzes their performance and adapts the content of the questions - if they are doing well the lesson will stop early, but if a student is struggling, it will add questions to make sure they fully grasp the current topic.
A detailed statistics window helps you monitor your students’ progress and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. You will be able to review the results lesson by lesson, day after day. Should you identify areas where extra training is needed, you can easily configure each activity in the customized training mode to focus on the items of choice.
