Shinybow SB-565 Overview

Distribute a 4K video signal to four displays over longer distances with the 1x4 4K2K HDMI Distribution Amplifier from Shinybow. It supports up to Ultra HD 4K resolution and features a signal booster that lets you use up to 65 ft cables for the 4K signal, and up to 98 ft cables for 1080p.

You can also upscale 1080p to Ultra HD, and downscale Ultra HD to 1080p. Additionally, select from three EDID modes for audio/video compatibility across a wider variety of displays.

It works for me only with 2 of the 4 inputs. As soon as I pluged in the 3nd TV I lost the 2nd TV. Not Good. So it did not work as rated.

I need to input from a 4K directv receiver and output in 4K to my 4k Sony TV and in 1080i to my HD TV. Will this work?

What type of scaling is used for the down conversion of UHD to HD? I have a 4k camera that does a pretty crude nearest neighbor type of scaling for the HDMI output to HD. I'm looking for a better 4k to HD quality down conversion to capture 1080p 10bit 4:2:2 video from my 4k camera to an external HD recorder.

This DA with Scaler is really geared more towards A/V Presentation than Video Production. It may work for your needs and is a returnable item if you are not happy with hit. However a product like the Blackmagic Design Teranex AV, B&H # BLTNAV, will give you a much higher quality of Up and Down Conversion between HD and 4k.

When switching is there a delay on the output while it re-syncs? Or is it seamless and instantaneous?
