Yes, the MagMod would be compatible for use with the Nissin Di700A Flash. In addition to the Standard Gel Set, the MagMod 2 would also be compatible for use with the MAGMOD Artistic Gel Set, B&H # MAMMARGEL02, and the MAGMOD Creative Gel Set, B&H # MAMMCRGEL02.

Hey Matthew - the MagGrip (the base of our system) should work just fine with your Sony flash. It is of the same general shape and size of most other speedlights - and the MagGrip has a universal stretch to fit design that will most definitely work. Good Luck and happy MagModding !

You have to stretch it a lot but technically yes it will fit. However, to properly use the magnetic attachments, they will not line up properly with the circular front of the V1. It is better to get the Godox accessories for gelling and modifying the light for the V1 speifically.
