This B&H Kit combines the Lexar Professional Workflow HR1 Hub with the Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 Card Reader for CompactFlash Cards. This kit is designed for those who want to transfer content from CompactFlash memory cards to their Windows or Mac compatible system. While this kit is designed to take advantage of USB 3.0 transfer speeds, it is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
The Lexar Professional Workflow HR1 Hub is a modular four-bay reader hub designed to accept up to four optional dedicated card readers. This solution enables quick, USB 3.0 transfer speeds of files from up to four simultaneous memory cards. The configurable structure of the hub allows users to insert a variety of reader types based on personal needs, with the ability to use either four of the same or any combination of SDHC/SDXC, microSDHC/microSDXC, CompactFlash, CFast 2.0, or XQD card types.
The Lexar Professional Workflow CFR1 Card Reader for CompactFlash Cards is a USB 3.0 reader designed for use within the Lexar Professional Workflow HR1 Hub. The compact form fits within one of the four bays of the HR1 Hub to enable its use along with up to three additional Professional Workflow Card Readers. Alternatively, this reader can be used independently of the hub as a standalone reader along with the included USB cable. This reader is designed for use with CompactFlash UDMA 7 memory cards and supports USB 3.0 transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s.
Please note that while this kit only includes the card reader for CompactFlash cards. Other Lexar-compatible card readers that support SDHC/SDXC, microSDHC/microSDXC, CFast 2.0, and XQD cards, as well as the Workflow HR1 Hub, are available and sold separately.
