Nice, well made, smooth wheel movement. No zipper, material overlaps and then you buckle

Amazing and Outstanding Tripod Bag

The construction is outstanding and is a solid build. I purchased the large bag, thinking that more room might offer more diversity. And it does - I can fit a large video tripod, along with one smaller video tripod. This bag wheels effortlessly, and you can see that with both the top and side handles, it's so easy to load into a vehicle. I love this bag !

Will this medium Sachtler Case hold a Sachtler Caddy Head and tripod legs? Or a Video 18 and tripod legs?
Asked by: Sion
This case has interior dimensions of H: 8.7 x W: 7.5 x L: 36.6". You will need to measure out the exact tripod and head you are using with this unit and compare it against the interior dimensions. It should work with most tripods up to 36.6 inches in length.

Does the tripod have to be packed upside down (the wheels being the bottom)? If so, why?
Asked by: Charles
Depending on the overall size of the tripod used you could pack it in the other direction. However it is slightly wider at the bottom which would make it a better option to pack it in the way shown in this photo on our website. https://bit.ly/2uNOy48

Does this case have any wiggle room for extra length inside? My tripod is 37.5" and it would be great if it could fit snugly into this case.
Asked by: Chase
The interior length of this Sachtler Roll-Along Tripod Cage is 36.6", so it would be too small for your 37.5" tripod.

Is this bag a good size for the Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head with flowtech 100mm Carbon Fiber Tripod & Carry Handle Kit?
Asked by: Jason
Yes, the Sachtler Roll-Along Tripod Cage (Medium) is a good size for the Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head with flowtech 100mm Carbon Fiber Tripod & Carry Handle Kit, B&H # SA1811FTGS. This bag is a similar size to the Sachtler ENG 2 Padded Bag, B&H # SAPBENG, that's included with the tripod.

Would this bag be considered "crush proof" or is it robust enough to be used as a checked bag for airline travel?
Asked by: Jason
The Sachtler Roll-Along Tripod Cage (Medium) is a very good case. And it is not as secure under the plane as a hard case, but many do use it under the plane. Note, it is longer than most standard sizes for under the plane, so you might be charged a fee by the airline for being oversized.
