Essential for Doc Bag 4 or 5, but understand its meant as an Aid with a negative

Doc Bag 5 is so big and heavy once my kit is inside that I didnt want to use it. I have a heavy rig and it barely fits through the doors when on the shoulder. This Tolley is essential and makes this bag enjoyable. Just understand that it's a snap on. It goes on easily and comes off easy. If you bang it from the side it can come off. If you are mindful, you will have no issues. But it will naturally happen if loading somewhere that has other gear. Get comfortable learning how to snap back on. When the bag is full, you need a technique to do it.

Works perfectly with the bag

I traveled with this bag without using the trolley, and it quickly became quite heavy to carry around. However, once I attached the trolley, it connected effortlessly and securely, transforming the bag into a convenient rolling case. The trolley makes a huge difference, offering easy maneuverability and significantly reducing the strain on my shoulders and back. It's a perfect solution for carrying a heavy camera and lenses for longer distances if you don’t want to change bags.

question

Does the base lock in place?
Asked by: Kim D.
not sure what you mean by lock in place. It does fold up when a bag is not on the dolly. When a bag is in place the base does lock as it holds the bag up.
