The reviewers have been saying the included battery for the Canon R8 is too small. They are right. First full battery lasted 90% of a full day shooting with my family in Iceland last week and I'm glad I brought a spare.

I mean it's a battery, it charges and holds a charge. If you are like me and shooting with a Canon eos RP then get this battery, don't get a third party knock-off that won't charge. I tried that and it didn't work.

I wish Canon had packed a few more grams of Lithium Ions into this model of battery. Small and light is great in the hand, but I still have to carry 2-3 spare batteries in my pack if I want a full day of shooting.
