The top surface has a "mono/sum" printed on it. Is there a right-side switch which sums both inputs to one of the outputs?
Asked by: Rob
The Mono/Sum switch on the right side of the Radial Engineering Trim-Two Stereo DI with Volume Control converts both outputs to dual mono, so using either output will deliver the same exact mono signal, so you have the option of using both outputs or just one output for your setup.

Will turning the trim knob down all the way mute ...

Will turning the trim knob down all the way mute the output? Or will there still be a noticeable signal?
Asked by: Carl
It is a trim not a mute so depending on the source you may hear it at a low level with the trim all the way down.

question

In the paragraph above the four-item bulleted list it says that the unit delivers a linear frequency response from 20 Hz to 18 kHz but the second item in the bulleted list says Linear response from 30 Hz to 20 kHz . Which is it?
Asked by: Ray
Hello Ray, Thank you for your interest in Radial. Although not ruler flat, the Trim-Two is linear (+/- 1dB) from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Regards, Ryan
