Flexible, portable, and with a 44.1 b load capacity, the Cartoni K103 3-Section Jibo Fluid Jib is suitable for interior and exterior jib moves. Its compact size and load capacity make it ideal for capturing cinematic jib moves with a variety of cameras ranging from action to cinema cameras. It has a front telescopic arm that extends its reach up to 19.7" for when you are in a tight space but want to get just a bit closer without moving your base, which is handy when working around furniture.

The jib's base mounts onto tripods with a 100mm bowl fitting (tripod not included), and it features fluid drag modules for both pan and tilt. Much like with a fluid head, these modules can help make slow movements smooth, and the modules can be engaged or disengaged as needed. An included horizontal lock makes for a safer setup of the jib, which can go from the included wheeled travel case to being mounted on your tripod in about three minutes.

Note:
Tripod and head are sold separately.
Quick Setup
This device is easily assembled with a quick no-tool setup system.
Camera Setup
The front telescopic arm permits the Cartoni Jibo to work in a wide variety of shooting positions. The fluid head supporting the camera can be positioned in several different positions as underslung, sideways, etc.
Extension
A length of 48" allows shooting from absolute ground level to 78" in height, with a maximum extension of 67.7".
Fluid Drag Modules
The fluid drag modules help provide smooth moves with long slow moves, and they can be engaged or disengaged as desired for the shot.
Counterweights
The rear part of the arm, which holds the counterweights, is extendable to provide for accurate camera balance. The typical counterweight kit is 55 lb of rubberized gym weights.

What is the fluid base ? From the picture of this product listed without this (B&H # CAK102), it just looks like a tripod. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks!
Asked by: Graham
Confused. Item title lists 102 for model. B&H and mfr list 103. Which is it?

The tripod needs to be ordered separately. The tripod shown is an H601 Heavy duty 100mm bowl tripod with P733 ground spreader.
